By accessing or using Young Filmmakers Hub (“we,” “us,” “Platform”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.
2. Definitions
Youth Creator: Any registered user aged 18 or under.
Guardian: A parent or legal guardian who links and consents to a Youth Creator’s account.
Administrator: Platform staff responsible for content publication, moderation, and safety.
3. Eligibility & Account Structure
3.1. Youth Creators must provide date of birth; eligibility is limited to those aged 18 and below.
3.2. Guardians must register, verify identity, and explicitly consent to link with a Youth Creator’s account.
3.3. Each Youth Creator account requires an associated Guardian account before full access is granted.
4. Registration & Verification
4.1. Users register with a valid email; Youth Creators undergo automated age check.
4.2. Youth Creators must submit a Guardian’s email; the Guardian then registers, verifies, and approves linkage.
5. Core Platform Modules
5.1. Marketplace
Categories: Equipment, Locations, Talent, Crew
Listings include title, description, category, contact details, and optional images
Search by category, keyword, and location
5.2. Portfolio Gallery
Upload films, trailers, images, and text
Tag awards, roles, and skills; maintain a personal bio
5.3. Blog Section
Admin‑published articles: festival guides, reviews, production tips, guest interviews
Users may comment and “like” posts under Community Guidelines
5.4. Collaboration Network
Forum threads and direct messaging for project pairing and team building
All interactions are subject to content moderation
6. Content Ownership & License
6.1. You retain ownership of content you upload. By posting, you grant the Platform a non‑exclusive, royalty‑free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and distribute your content.
6.2. Platform‑created blog content remains property of Young Filmmakers Hub; external republication requires written permission.
7. Community Standards & Moderation
7.1. Prohibited content: unlawful material, harassment, hate speech, explicit content, or any infringement of rights.
7.2. Automated filters and human review enforce these rules; repeat violators face suspension or termination.
8. Guardian Permissions & Oversight
8.1. Guardians can view and approve their linked Youth Creator’s posts and messages.
8.2. Guardians may not post content on behalf of Youth Creators but may request removal of unsuitable material.
9. Privacy & Data Security
9.1. See our Privacy Policy for details on data collection, use, and retention, including digital consent timestamps.
9.2. We employ encryption and security best practices but cannot guarantee absolute protection.
10. Liability & Disclaimers
10.1. The Platform is provided “as is.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
10.2. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use.
11. Termination & Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account for violation of these Terms or for any lawful reason without notice.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at our discretion. Continued use after posting changes constitutes acceptance. The “Last updated” date will reflect the revision.
